Join us for a a hands‑on stewardship day. We’ll be improving the Kittredge Brook trail with one of the methods, depending on need, by shaping tread with pick mattocks, opening the corridor with loppers or stapling chicken wire onto bog bridging.
Meet us at 1 Village Way in Somesville, where we’ll carpool to the Kitteridge Brook Forest trails.
No prior trail‑work experience is needed. Just bring a willingness to help and enjoy a productive day in a beautiful part of the island.
Please Bring: Work Gloves, water bottle, personal snacks, bug spray, small backpack to bring personal gear into trail work area.
