Angela Harnik, Senior Staff Accountant

2026spring Angela

Born and raised in Buxton, Angela is a lifelong Mainer whose family has called the state home for generations. She enjoys learning about history, truly appreciates a good spreadsheet, and loves when the numbers tie out. Outside of work, you’ll usually find her listening to audiobooks, assisting with local dog training classes, taking a dip in the Saco River, or sea glass hunting on the Southern Maine coast.

On land conservation:  “Growing up in Maine, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for the state’s natural beauty and rich history. I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to experience so many of the things that make Maine special and hope to be a small part of keeping the land safe and accessible to future generations.”

On the job: “I joined Maine Coast Heritage Trust in June of 2026 with over a decade of experience in finance and accounting across nonprofit organizations, consulting and advisory firms, and corporate environments. I’m excited to be able to combine my accounting expertise with a mission that I genuinely believe in.”
