Ways to Make a Planned Gift
A Bequest Gift
A bequest is the most common way to make a planned gift. You can donate a specific amount or a percentage of your estate or make a donation of land or personal property to MCHT.
Make MCHT a Beneficiary
You can make MCHT the beneficiary of an insurance policy and/or retirement fund.
Life Income Gift
Through annuities and trusts you can receive income for life—while creating a legacy that will reverberate in MCHT’s work to protect the Maine coast for generations to come.

A Legacy Rooted in Long Point
Bill and Keefer Irwin of Steuben, ME, reflect on their connection to Maine Coast Heritage Trust’s Long Point Preserve in Machiasport.
Long Point was conserved in 2013 and is now open to the public—forever.
