A community event focused on summer 2026 construction plans for a nature-like fishway replacing an aging dam that has impaired fish passage for more than 65 years. History of the dam, the project, and plans and renderings will be shared by project partners including Downeast Salmon Federation, The Nature Conservancy, Atlantic Salmon Federation and the Town of Cherryfield.
