Tinker Island Sunset Trip

Aug 27 | 5:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.

Savor a summer evening and join us on Tinker Island for sunset. Pack a picnic dinner, board an MCHT boat, and kick back on the beach as the tide comes in.

We’ll meet at the Seal Cove Landing (see directions below) at 5:30pm, head to the west side of Tinker Island to enjoy the beautiful preserve, and head back to Seal Cove, arriving at 7:30pm, just before dark.

What to bring:
  • Appropriate clothing, hat, and extra layers (windbreaker, rain jacket, fleece)
  • Personal flotation devices (PFD) for any children in your group. We have adult PFDs on the boat but you bring yours from home if you like
  • Shoes or rubber boots that can get wet getting on and off the boat
  • Picnic dinner and water– we’ll bring extra water and snacks
  • Sunscreen, insect repellent
  • Blanket to sit on

Please keep in mind, there are no bathroom facilities on the island or boat. There is a portapotty at Seal Cove Landing. We’ll bring wag bags for anyone who might need one on the island.
