Join the team this summer! We are offering teens ages 14-18 an hourly-paid position in the Teen Ag Crew at Erickson Fields Preserve this summer. Teen Ag Crew members will gain hands-on experience in sustainable agricultural practices and learn about their local food system. The work is both challenging and rewarding and contributes to the Midcoast community by partnering with Good Shepherd Food Bank and food assistance sites. Since the Teen Ag Crew formed in 2010, they have assisted in the production of 17,000+ pounds of fresh produce to local food pantries every year.
MCHT’s Teen Ag Crew has been an open door for many teens entering the workforce. No previous farming experience is required, just a desire to be outdoors, work hard in a team and learn new skills. The position will be part-time June 22 through August 21. The starting hourly wage will be $15.10.
