Join community members from the Frankfort Recreation Department, Maine Coast Heritage Trust, and local natural history experts on Mount Waldo. We’ll hike 1.1 miles to scenic vista near the top of the mountain with a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape.
We’ll provide a picnic lunch at the top before hiking the same trail back down the mountain.
Meet at the Mount Waldo Preserve parking lot off Murray Lane, about a mile from the intersection of Murray Ln & Spout Hill Rd.
No restrooms will be available.
What to bring:

- extra snacks
- binoculars (optional)
What to wear:
- weather-appropriate attire & layers
- sturdy hiking footwear
