Join Kyle Winslow, MCHT’s Associate Director of Stewardship, for a community walk at Boot Head to learn about the scope of upcoming trail improvement work and what to expect in the months to come.
To improve access for recreation users, Boot Head Preserve in Lubec will undergo significant trail and infrastructure improvements during the 2026 season. The work will include repairs to a portion of the existing trail, re-routes through problem sections, and installing new boardwalk. Some temporary trail closures are expected during the project timeframe.
