Ring in the holiday season with cows, hot cocoa, and ugly sweaters!
Join us from 9:00 AM to noon at Aldermere’s Welcome Center and Program Barn for a fun, family-friendly holiday celebration! Don your most festive (or ugliest) holiday sweater and get your photo taken with Aldermere’s Belted Galloway calves.
Festivities include:
- Beltie ornament making
- Free hot cocoa
- 4-H bake sale
- Stories & holiday fun!
While you’re visiting, you’ll learn more about the youth agriculture programs hosted at Aldermere Farm and Erickson Fields Preserves throughout the year.
Donations for Food Assistance
Donations of shelf-stable foods and cash will be collected to benefit Camden Area Christian Food Pantry. Donations of items on the Pantry’s wish list are appreciated: canned tuna, canned meats, and packets of rice and pasta side dishes.
This event is free and open to the public. No advance registration is necessary.
Story Trail at Erickson Fields Preserve
After visiting Aldermere Farm, visitors can take a 5-minute drive to Erickson Fields Preserve where they can immerse themselves in a good book while strolling through the woods on the Erickson Fields Story Trail. Pages of Where Do Fairies Go When It Snows by Liza Gardner Walsh and illustrated by Hazel Mitchell will be posted along the 1.4-mile loop trail.
