ArtWaves and Maine Coast Heritage Trust are teaming up to offer a fun morning of needle felting in the marsh at Babson Creek Preserve. We’ll tour the salt marsh, learn about the recent restoration efforts, then sit down to reflect and felt the fall scene with guidance from our friends at ArtWaves.
Participants will take home a felted potholder or similar-sized wall hanging inspired by Babson Creek. Materials included, free workshop. Please wear shoes you don’t mind ‘mucking about’ in. Participants will walk a quarter mile down to the marsh from the parking area. Restrooms will open in the MCHT office adjacent to the marsh.
