Associate Director of Information Technology
Department: Finance and Administration
Region: Southern Maine
Jeff grew up in Orono, Maine, and is a life-long sailor, cyclist, and skier. He received his BA in Political Science from Colorado College, which he strategically chose for its proximity to recreational opportunities and its unique one-class-at-a-time approach to learning.
Prior to joining Maine Coast Heritage Trust, Jeff was the Director of Technology in several school districts in Maine and Minnesota. He lives in Rockport with his wife and two children.
Jeff has been with MCHT since 2022.
On land conservation: “I grew up sailing along the coast, biking in the forests, and skiing the mountains of Maine. Maintaining access to, and the health of, the precious resources here is imperative. Collectively, we spend a lot of time in built environments – I believe the ability to get out in the natural world is important not only for my family, but for everyone regardless of their background or circumstances.”
On the job: Jeff supports the work of staff across the organization, ranging from troubleshooting printing problems to reimagining how data is collected and used to support the mission of MCHT.
