Campsite Reservations

Get to know the Maine coast by staying at one of MCHT’s reservable group campsites. All campsites are free.

Dozens of MCHT preserves offer first-come, first-served campsites that do not require advanced reservation — please see individual preserve pages for details.

However, there are several campsites available by reservation only. Three of these campsites are in Casco Bay, on East Gosling, Whaleboat, and Lanes Island. The other two (Deep Cove and Two-Step) are part of Rocky Lake Preserve in Whiting.

Reservations are for the campsite locations only. All beaches and trails are still open to the general public for day use.
