Bailey’s Mistake

The coast of Maine is a unique place with a culture deeply tied to and dependent on the ocean. The state has roughly 3,500 miles of coastline, which is a lot—but as more traditional access sites get closed off to the public, it’s starting to feel like less and less.

Thanks to your support, we have been able to protect traditional coastal access areas and create more permanent public access for everyone—including fishermen, like Greg McConnel who rely on coastal access to make a living.
