Join Maine Coast Heritage Trust steward and naturalist, Kirk Gentalen, for a lively all-ages adventure outdoors! We’ll explore some of the wildlife stories that Woodward Point Preserve in Brunswick has to offer.
Fresh snow captures animal tracks, trails, and tunnels providing lessons untaught in any other season. Together, we will learn all about the fascinating adaptations of our winter wildlife and discover signs of their presence in the snow.
What to Expect
- Participants should dress in warm layers and wear appropriate boots for walking off trail in deep snow.
- Binoculars and cameras are encouraged.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
