Third Thursday: Augusta Update – Conservation News in the Legislature
A monthly virtual series on Zoom

Join us online on the third Thursday of the month for a look at the work our donors make possible. Whether it’s access to the water, resilience to climate change, working with your community leaders, or supporting your local land trust—there’s so much to talk about!
Sessions are presented by members of the MCHT board, staff, and partner organizations who are out there every day, working together, to make the work happen. There’s plenty of time at the end of each session to answer your questions.
THIS MONTH:
An Update from Augusta: Conservation News in the Legislature
MCHT’s Senior Public Policy Manager, Jeff Romano, will talk about conservation issues that are being addressed in the Maine legislature this year. As a member of the Land Trust Program, managed by Maine Coast Heritage Trust, Jeff works full time in Augusta, advocating in favor of policies that support land conservation efforts in Maine and all of those who call Maine home.
There will be plenty of time at the end for your questions.
