Pride Walk at Erickson Fields
A multi-media experience at Erickson Fields Preserve during Pride Month
During the month of June, Maine Coast Heritage Trust and OUT Maine will celebrate Pride Month with a self-guided Pride Walk along a 1.4-mile loop trail in the woods at Erickson Fields Preserve, 164 West Street, Rockport.
The Pride Walk features LGBTQ+ and allied youth creative pieces in a series of display cases along a wooded 1.4-mile loop trail at Erickson Fields Preserve.
The loop trail at Erickson Fields is open to the public seven days a week, sunrise to sunset. The trail winds from the parking lot past MCHT’s Teen Ag Crew food-bank farm and the community gardens at Erickson Fields. Come see community agriculture in action!
The broad trail covers gentle changes in elevation and footing and and is accessible to strollers.
Dogs are welcome at Erickson Fields!
- Dogs are allowed off-leash from sunrise to 9:00 am in designated areas of the trail. Outside of those hours and when off the trail, pets must be leashed at all times.

About Erickson Fields
Erickson Fields Preserve is home to the Teen Ag Program, where local high school students work to plant, harvest, and distribute food to local hunger relief organizations, schools, and businesses.
The preserve also hosts other programs, nature walks, and workshops that foster an appreciation for the environment and sustainable food production, including a community garden and Kids Can Grow, a program that teaches families about backyard gardening.
As members of the Knox County Food Council, Maine Coast Heritage Trust collaborates with many other organizations to help get food to our neighbors who need it.
This event takes place at Erickson Fields, Rockport
This former Rockport dairy farm features a 1.8-mile trail and gardens where young people grow food for the community.
