Email Kyle

Kyle grew up in southern Maine and moved to Brewer in high school. Kyle received his BS from the University of Maine at Machias in 2007 and has been working in the downeast region ever since. Much of his work has been focused on migratory fish population and habitat restoration but, in the last five years, he has shifted his focus to land conservation.  Kyle lives in Whiting with his wife Samantha and two girls, Lily and Josie. When he’s not mucking around in the woods for work, you can find him mucking around in the woods, or in the garden with his girls.

Kyle has been with MCHT since 2021.

On land conservation: “Ever since I was a kid I felt at home in the outdoors. Growing up in rural Maine, the rivers and trees were our playground, and the streams and woods inspired our imaginations. Fishing, hunting, hiking, and exploring helped shape who I am, and I am so grateful to be working in a field that allows me to help protect and care for the resources that I have such a personal connection to.”

On the job: Working out of the Whiting office, Kyle manages and monitors preserves and easements across Washington County, from Harrington to Steuben, including several islands. Kyle enjoys having the opportunity to care for conserved land vital to the flora, and fauna of Washington County and the people who live here.
