As our Planned Giving and Major Gifts Officer, David enjoys connecting with our contributors. With more than 30 years of experience in fundraising, he’s worked in public broadcasting in all three northern New England states. David returned to his hometown of Brunswick in 2014 to take this position and to aid in caring for his aging parents.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Maine Planned Giving Council and loves to volunteer for Maine Public Radio pledge drives. David and his wife, Jane, look forward to building a home on their property on Orr’s Island. When not connecting with MCHT contributors David enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading and following the adventures of Kirk Gentalen and Jeff Romano.

On land conservation: “Feeling so fortunate for having grown up with a small piece of the Maine coast in my family, I love helping ensure that people will have places where they can experience the beauty and restorative nature of this magical spot on the planet.”

On the job: As MCHT’s Planned Giving and Major Gift Officer since 2014, David enjoys meeting people and developing relations that combine fulfillment of donor’s philanthropic goals with achieving the organization’s mission.
