Trail Building Talk and Presentation
with Acadia National Park
May 30, 2017 - 6:15 pm-9:00 pm
Departing from (or event address): 5 Parker Point Road, Blue Hill
On Tuesday, May 30, join us at the Blue Hill Public Library for an interesting look at the process of building new trails on public preserves. We all use them - but have you ever thought about the planning that goes into it and the crews that work to carve trails over and through all kinds of terrain.
This presentation will be given by experienced trailbuilders George Fields of Blue Hill Heritage Trust, Caleb Jackson of Maine Coast Heritage Trust, and Pete Coleman of Acadia National Park.
A short reception will be held around the talk as well. Free and open to the public.
