Field Trip Description
Douglas McMullin, MCHT Regional Steward will join Master Maine Sea Kayak Guide, Karen Francoeur on this exploration of the islands and properties of the Bagaduce Estuary conserved by MCHT. Explore the nutrient-rich reversing waters of the estuary, with its incredible diversity of life including eagles, seals, seabirds and one of the most northerly bays on the east coast in which horseshoe crabs mate and lay eggs. You'll gain tips about paddling with finesse and trip planning in tides and current. Beginners to experienced paddlers welcome!
Cost
$75 per person. (10% discount with Pre-approved sea kayak.)
